Monthly Meeting – Open Beer Competition

Since this competition is open to any beer in the whole of the AABC style guide, I’d like you to consider it not only an opportunity to brew your favourite style, but also as the chance to brew a beer twice and improve on it. By that i mean look into the future competitions and see if there is a particular beer there that you would particularly like to nail down prior to the QABC in September.

For instance maybe you are really keen to master an IPA. We have an IPA competition in August so you can brew one for the open competition in February and take the feedback on your scoresheet into account, rebrew that beer for the August IPA competition and hopefully your score sheet will reflect your adjustments based on your original scoresheet.
